Slouchy

Membership terms

Version: membership-terms-2026-10-09

These terms explain how Slouchy memberships, free trials, payments and cancellation work. They apply alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.

1. Who we are

Slouchy is provided by AG Injury & Rehabilitation Limited, trading as Slouchy Health, of 38 Acorn Avenue, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 7DR.

You can contact us at hello@slouchyhealth.com, including about your membership, cancellation, refunds or complaints.

Your membership contract is with AG Injury & Rehabilitation Limited.

2. What a membership includes

An active Slouchy membership gives you full use of the membership features in the app, including daily five-minute Desk Resets, movement breaks and reminders, calendar features, weekly check-ins and progress tracking.

Calendar features require you to connect a supported calendar and grant the necessary permissions.

Slouchy provides general movement, exercise and self-management support. It does not provide individual medical diagnosis or replace assessment, treatment or advice from an appropriate healthcare professional. Individual clinical consultations are not included in your membership.

We do not guarantee a particular reduction in pain or other health outcome. Please follow the app’s safety guidance and seek appropriate healthcare advice if you are concerned about your symptoms.

3. Plans and prices

  • Monthly membership: £9.99 per month.
  • Annual membership: £79 per year, paid upfront.
  • Waitlist offer: eligible waitlist members receive their first annual membership year for £59. It then renews at £79 per year, unless we notify you of a subsequent price change under section 12.

To use the waitlist offer, you must register using the same email address you used to join the Slouchy waitlist. The offer applies to the annual plan and can be used once per person.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Your selected plan, price and any introductory offer will be shown before you confirm your subscription.

Annual membership is a single yearly payment, rather than a monthly instalment plan.

4. Free trial

New members receive a seven-day free trial on either plan. The trial is available once per person.

You must provide a valid payment method to start the trial. No membership payment is taken during the trial.

Your membership contract begins when your subscription is successfully created at checkout. Your trial starts at that time, and you receive immediate access to the app.

Unless you cancel before your trial ends, we will automatically charge your payment method for your selected plan: £9.99 for monthly membership, or £79 for annual membership—£59 for the first year if the waitlist offer applies.

Your trial end and first payment date will be shown in your membership information. We will email you a reminder before your trial ends.

If you cancel during your trial, you can continue using the membership features until the trial ends, and no membership payment will be taken.

Rejoining after a previous trial or membership does not entitle you to another free trial.

5. Automatic renewal

Your paid membership renews automatically until you cancel:

  • Monthly memberships renew each month.
  • Annual memberships renew each year.

We charge your payment method at the start of each new billing period.

We will email you before each annual renewal, confirming the renewal date, amount and how to cancel. For waitlist members, the reminder before the second membership year will explain the change from the £59 introductory price to the £79 annual price, or any different price properly notified under section 12.

We will also provide any other subscription reminders and notices required by applicable law.

6. Cancelling automatic renewal

You can cancel automatic renewal at any time through Account → Manage membership. This opens our payment provider’s secure billing page.

You can also cancel by emailing hello@slouchyhealth.com. Please provide the email address associated with your Slouchy account so we can identify your membership. You do not need to give a reason.

Cancelling automatic renewal means:

  • No further renewal payment will be taken.
  • You keep full access until the end of your current paid billing period.
  • If you are still in your free trial, access continues until the trial ends.

Please submit your cancellation before the trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge.

We will confirm your cancellation and the date your paid access ends. If you change your mind before that date, you can reverse a scheduled cancellation through your membership settings.

This section concerns cancellation of future renewals. Immediate cancellation and refunds during a cooling-off period are explained below.

7. Your cooling-off cancellation rights

Initial cancellation period

You can cancel your membership without giving a reason from the time your subscription contract is created until the end of the 14th day after that date.

This period starts when you sign up at checkout, including when you start a free trial. It does not start again simply because your first payment is taken.

You can use Slouchy during this period without losing the cancellation right described here.

If you cancel under this section:

  • Your paid membership ends without waiting for the end of the billing period.
  • If no payment has been taken, nothing is payable.
  • If your first membership payment has already been taken, we will refund it in full. We will not deduct an amount for your use during this initial cancellation period.

To exercise this right, email hello@slouchyhealth.com or write to the address in section 1, clearly stating that you want to cancel your membership under your cooling-off right. Sending your cancellation before the deadline is sufficient.

You may use the cancellation form below, but you do not have to.

Using Account → Manage membership normally stops the next renewal while preserving access until the period ends. If you also want immediate cancellation and a cooling-off refund, please tell us using the contact details above. We will not require you to use particular wording where your intention to exercise your cancellation right is clear.

Additional statutory cancellation rights

Where applicable law gives you a further cooling-off period following trial conversion, an annual renewal or another qualifying event, we will honour that right and provide the required information and refund.

Nothing in these terms limits any longer cancellation period or additional protection available to you by law.

Refund timing

Refunds under this section will be made without undue delay and within 14 days after we receive your cancellation notice.

We will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund administration fee.

8. Other refunds

Outside the cancellation rights in section 7 and any other legal entitlement, membership payments are not refundable, including for unused or part-used billing periods.

If you cancel automatic renewal outside a cooling-off period, you retain access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights if Slouchy is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements. These rights may include correction of the problem, a price reduction or a refund, depending on the circumstances.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact hello@slouchyhealth.com.

9. Changing your plan

You can request a change between monthly and annual membership through Account → Manage membership.

Before you confirm, the billing page will show when the change takes effect, the amount payable, any adjustment for your current billing period and your next billing date.

Depending on the change, an adjustment may be an additional charge or a credit against future payments. A billing credit is not necessarily a cash refund.

The change will take effect on the date shown when you confirm it. Changing your plan does not give you another free trial.

Any statutory cancellation or refund rights remain unaffected.

10. If a payment fails

If a membership payment fails, we will notify you by email and display a message in the app asking you to update your payment method.

You will normally retain full access for seven days following the failed payment while you update your details. Our payment provider may retry the payment during that period.

You can update your payment method through Account → Manage membership.

If payment remains unsuccessful after the seven-day grace period, your paid membership will end and your account will switch to limited free access.

A failed payment does not itself cancel automatic renewal. If you want to stop your membership, please use the cancellation options in section 6.

We will not charge a late-payment fee. Any outstanding payment or refund issue will be handled in accordance with your legal rights.

11. When a membership ends

When your paid membership ends, you retain a limited free account.

You can:

  • Sign in and view your retained history and progress.
  • Repeat the Desk Reset you most recently started, or Desk Reset A if you haven’t started one.
  • Rejoin a paid membership, without another free trial.

New check-ins, other membership routines and movement breaks are unavailable. Slouchy reminders and calendar scheduling stop.

We will remove future calendar events created by Slouchy where the calendar connection and permissions allow us to do so. If removal is unsuccessful, you may need to remove those events from your calendar yourself.

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. We may retain limited records where required or otherwise lawfully permitted, such as payment and legal records. Our Privacy Notice explains retention and your data rights.

12. Price changes

We may change prices for future billing periods to reflect changes in operating costs, taxes or the service we provide.

We will not increase the price of a billing period you have already paid for or change an agreed introductory price during its stated period.

If a change affects your renewal price, we will email you at least 30 days before the affected renewal, explaining the new price, when it applies and how to cancel.

You can cancel before that renewal if you do not want to continue at the new price. Your access will continue until the end of the period already paid for.

The waitlist offer’s disclosed change from £59 for the first year to £79 for subsequent years is part of the introductory offer. We will still remind you of that amount before renewal.

13. Employer-funded access

If your employer funds your access, you do not pay a personal membership fee unless you separately choose to enter a personal paid subscription.

The personal prices, trial, payment and renewal provisions in these terms do not apply while your access is employer-funded.

Your employer-funded access depends on your employer’s arrangement with us. If that access ends, we will explain your available options, including any limited free access or personal membership.

We will not automatically start a personally paid membership or charge you because employer funding ends. You must expressly sign up for a personal paid membership.

The Terms of Use, safety guidance, Privacy Notice and applicable data rights continue to apply.

14. Accounts created before memberships launched

Accounts created before 19th October 2026 retain free access to Slouchy’s membership features indefinitely, without needing to start a paid membership.

This entitlement belongs to the qualifying account and cannot be transferred. It does not automatically include separately priced products or services introduced in future.

You do not need to provide a payment method to retain this free access, and we will not automatically convert your account into a paid membership.

The Terms of Use and safety guidance continue to apply. This entitlement does not prevent us from suspending or closing an account in accordance with those terms for a valid reason, such as serious misuse.

15. Payments

We use Stripe to process payments securely and provide hosted checkout and billing services.

Your membership contract is with AG Injury & Rehabilitation Limited. Stripe processes payments on our behalf.

Slouchy does not see or store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with its applicable privacy and security policies.

Membership receipts and relevant billing communications will be sent to the email address associated with your subscription. Please keep that address up to date.

16. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts consumer rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Nothing excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence and any right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

Optional cancellation form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to cancel. You may instead send any clear statement of your decision to cancel.
